This is a little late... ok a lot late but hey, its here! About 6 or 7 weeks ago Konner was hanging out with all his best buddies (also known as cousins) while I was at work. He was riding his bike at the park and wrecked. I got a phone call around 1 to tell me he had fallen. I asked if he was ok, if his arm was swollen, if i needed to leave work to take care of him... you know, the norms for a mom. Joyce said he was ok and he was playing but she would call if anything changed. I got there to pick him up around 5 and things had definitely worsened. His poor little elbow was swollen and he had been crying. I carried him to the car and drove straight to my parents house since my dad has dealt with 7 broken arms between him and my two brothers. He touched it, very gently, looked it over and said, "You need to get him in, I will be very surprised if it is not broken." So...since I have always listened to my dad (haha) I took him in.
It happened to be Presidents day and every thing was closed except instacare. I got there and there was a 3 hour wait!! So I put his name on the list and took him to Wendy's to get some dinner. Long wait cut short.... He had to get X-rays done to find out it was indeed broken. He had an ulnar fracture right at the elbow. They put him in a splint and a sling and said call your Dr. and he will decide if he wants to cast it or leave it in a splint since elbows stiffen very quickly. Dr. Thompson decided to cast it... Konner picked a blue cast and wore it for 31/2 weeks. He was so nervous to get his cast off because people had told him they cut it off with a saw. When we got there Dr. Thompson explained everything to him and he relaxed a bit. Konner is doing pretty well with the cast off.... we just have to make sure he gets it all the way straightened out with in the week.
Don't worry that children never listen to you; worry that they are always watching you. ~Robert Fulghum
When you judge someone else it doesn't define who they are.. it defines who you are

Mom, can you please turn the radio up... I love the zucchini song! (California girls- Katy Perry... bikini on top)
Mom, when my ears grow up, they are going to wear ear rings.
"Grandma, where is that little house that has the kids that go in it?" (talking about the plastic kids nativity set)
"Holy crap mom! I am going to have to wear 4 pairs of pants to go into that much snow" (2 inches)-Konner
"Grandma, can you get me some milk?"
"Just one second, ok?" (a couple minutes go by)
"Can you get me some milk now?"
"Oh, I forgot. Can you be patient for one more min? Silly grandma, I bet you dont know what patient means"
"yes I do!!! It means CHILL YOUR JETS!" -Zaydee
While saying the prayer, Konner said, "Please bless that I can be good to my mom so I can go shotgun shooting on Thanksgiving." He is so excited to go... it has been a great incentive.
"you can go through a yellow light ya know" -Zaydee
"Mom, you are INCREDIBLE!" -Konner
"MOM, we need to brush my teeth right now!"
"We will when we get home."
"but mom, I have a boogie stuck in my teeth"-Zaydee
Konner said, "I had a dream that rattle snakes tore my boots up." I replied,"Oh man, that is SCARY!" He said, "Oh, Don't worry... I will get a knife and rattle their snakes off!!"
I said to Zaydee "I really like your polka dot jammies!" Zaydee got so excited and said, "I know! I got them for Christmas! From the Grinch!"
Konner said to Grandma Tucker, "I will be Spiderman and Superman at the same time!" Grandma said, "How can you be both at one time?" Konner replied, "Its easy grandma... you just wear 2 capes!"
After taking Konners temperature he said "mom, does it say i have a fever?" I said.. it sure doesnt! he said "well, does it say i have a cough?"
Konner said, "Mom if someone messes with my sister I..... then Zaydee interrupts and says... We will kick their TRASH!
I was going to the bathroom and flushed the toilet...Zaydee runs in and says, "GOOD JOB MOM, want a treat? You are a big girl huh!"
Konner's reply when I asked him to clean up his stuff in the living room... "I'm sorry mom, I cant hear you because my ears are blind."
The kids wanted to take a bath with Emilee and Grandma Tucker said no, there is not enough room for every one in the tub. Konner says "well I am just a skinny little rat so I can fit." then Zaydee says "grandma I am just a little bit skinny" haha
Grandpa Jeff: (teasing) Zaydee, should we spank your bum for jumping on Emilee's bed?!
