Getting caught up

Ok i know i have not posted in for ever so Sundae this one is for you!!! I am trying to think of what has happened since i posted last.... we went to fish lake for the big elk hunt, we went to salt lake for beau and brandis wedding, i did a photo shoot with saidee smith, i took family pictures for the olsons, dusty killed a 4 point deer, zaydee is taking a few steps here and there. I will try to get the pictures in order...

The last little while

Here are some pictures of what has been going on lately with us. We spent a weekend at Yankee Meadows, Zaydee loves her jumper, Zaydee has been sick... i think she is getting some teeth, Dustys birthday, Konner being him self and posing in his underwear! more of dustys birthday will be posted soon! stay tuned for more...

i know these chairs look so sad and lonely all by themselves! They are calling my name! For some reason the last little while i have been wanting to go back to hawaii and relax on the beach so bad. any one wanna go?

Zaydee Lady

Zaydee is thinking she is such a big girl and pulling her self up on anything she can reach. She doesnt crawl she just rolls where she needs to go and then pulls her self up and stands there and gets so excited. I put her in her bed to take a nap the other day and went back in a few min. later to make sure she was sleeping and she had pulled herself up in her bed and was just looking around. What a silly girl...

Mommy Moment....

I am sure this has happened to any of you that have kids but it just hit me that my little Konner man is not so little any more. On Monday night we were hanging out at my mom and dads house and my mom says to konner "One of these days you should come to my house and have a sleep over." He was excited and asked if he could sleep at her house that night. well we didnt have any of his stuff so we decided it would be better to plan first. So Konner wakes up on tuesday morning and says "Mom lets call grandma Tucker and see if i can sleep there tonight." I hand Konner my phone and he knows how to get to her number in the contacts so he calls her. He asks her if he can sleep over at her house tonight. Of course she said yes (she is a grandma....ha) Ok so i know he is just going to my moms house to sleep over but still... i imediatly started getting nervous because he has never slept away from me or dusty. I tried to act excited and help him get his stuff packed but inside i was freaking out. He said he needed his pack pack that has his little lightning Mcqueen sleeping bag in it, his dinosaur jammies, his pull up... oh and his bink. so we get everything packed up and i take him over to my moms. he gets out of the car and wants to carry his own stuff and then he says "Mom just take me in the house then you can leave if you want" (if i want... was that so he didnt hurt my feelings?) so i take him inside and ask him if he can give me a love and a kiss and he says...... "nah not today." what the!! so i tried to stay as long as possible and talk to my mom to see what they were going to be doing and make sure she knows that she can call me to come pick him up at any time if he needs me. I finally leave and the whole way home i was so sad.. well i am not sure if sad is the word but it really just hit me that konner is not a baby any more. I called as soon as i got home (and 80 more times before i went to bed....well maybe not quite that many) and every time i called i got the same answer. he is fine we are just playing games and having popcorn and watching movies and drinking pop. I really didnt sleep that good because i was to worried about Konner. I really dont know what i am going to do when he starts school... So any way i guess there is no way to make them stay small..... I took some pictures of him all ready to go so i will post them alittle later.

Saturday night we had dinner and games with a bunch of our friends and it was a blast! We made tacos for dinner and then Zeth made some home made salsa that was awesome! (way to go betty crocker!) after dinner we busted out rock band and i have not laughed that hard since..... since... friday night! haha just kidding. Any way Miranda started out with the microphone and was great. every one took a turn on the drums, guitar, and singing. some good others not so good. i fall in the second one! When it was Dustys turn to sing i thought i was going to die laughing. He sang Dead or Alive by Bon Jovi and i am here to tell you he was so good! He was singing at the top of his lungs and every one was dying! then josh sang Roxanne and i never knew he could sing so high!

Our Wacky Weekend!

On Friday we thought it would be fun to go out and leave the kids with grandma Tucker. So we dropped them off and drove to travys house and got his motorcycle and then we were off to Texas Road House for some dinner. We get there and notice there are a million people waiting so we deicde to go in and see how long the wait is.... well this is where i say it pays to know people. We got to the counter and the wait for two was 30 min. just then Tressica walks out and sees us and imediatly seats us. So our night out was going pretty good i would say. After we ate our dinner we were deciding where to go on our little ride and thought it would be fun to head over by snow canyon and out through ivins and back home. right as we were passing tuachan we noticed the sky getting dark and we were seeing some lightning. well nedless to say we were on sunset when the monsoon hit!! We stopped at a gas station and thought we would sit there for a min and see if it would slow down but it didnt let up one bit! while we were sitting there Dusty and i were just laughing at the fact that it never rains until we want to be out riding! We still had a long ways to go back to travys house so we just went for it! the rain was comming down so hard that it was hurting as it hit us. Dusty had to drive through a few puddles because the roads were freaking flooded and by the time we finally made it back to travs we were SOAKED! we were dumping water out of our shoes. It is something i will never forget thats for sure.

Summer Fruit

One of the reasons i like the summer is because summer fruit is sooo good! Apperently Zaydee likes it too! So on Sunday we gave Zaydee her first pice of watermelon and she loved it! it was so funny to watch her with it. Here are some pictures of her chowing down on the watermelon.

4th of July

So we had a fun 4th of july weekend. My uncle and his family and my Aunt and her family came into town so we hung out with them quite a bit. We had a bbq at Zeth and Mirandas house and then went to the air port to watch fire works. Jenny brought her cute little puppy to the bbq and Konner and Zaydee loved her! All in all it was a pretty fun weekend.
